I am in love with this card! This is Merman Kody from the Some Odd Girl digi line. He was all abs and saucy smirks and I knew I had to color him! I loved the gills and the fin areas on his arm and I wanted to play off of that and give him some scale patterns all over. You can't really see it in the picture (Frustrating) but all the papers are super iridescent, which I thought fit the underwater theme pretty well, like sunlight on a bubble or a shimmering seashell. I tried to continue that reflective quality in the trident against his scales. I drew out both wave patterns and cut them on my Zing. (Best birthday gift EVER! My Husband just GETS me!)
