Xmas Tags

For Christmas this year, I decided to play with some fun tags and send them out in lieu of Christmas cards. Remind me next year to start in July.

On this one, I adhered some printed paper to the back and outlined some of the text with a Versamark pen and used embossing powder that corresponded to the colors in the paper, giving come of the text a nice glossy sheen. It was the simplest of the batch. With a couple K&Co. Embellishments, we were ready to go.
For this one, I inked the background using a few Tim Holtz Distress Inks and stenciled a glitter pattern over that. On a separate sheet of white paper stock, I stamped Simply Ornamental and colored with Copic markers and applied glitter to the dress and hair for a festive feel. A couple of sparkly embellishments and this one was all done.
She was my favorite! I made her using the Sugar Plum Fairy from Tiddly Inks. I didn't have a very extensive Copic collection, so rather than color her, I printed the pre-colored digi from the pack and cut her out. The background, like the last, is Tim Holtz Distress Ink and glitter patterns with a little colorful border for the bottom.
Ah, Snow. We don't get a lot of that here in Florida, so I love making snowy things for Christmas. Each one of these last three tags was colored with the Tim Holtz Winter pack, some with a little browns thrown in and some with a little lighter blues. I really love that color palette. A few embossed snowflakes and sentiments and we were walking in a winter wonderland.

I love this stamp. I think it might be discontinued though.
